Nearly all Geology classes have some kind of field component. Introductory classes have at least one trip into the field (Honors sections generally have several), and upper level courses spend progressively more time examining geologic features in their natural habitat. For some courses, such as Preparation of Geologic Reports and Summer Field Camp, the class time is nearly all outside.
