Brian joins the faculty this year as a new laboratory instructor. Brian's Master's thesis considered the evolutionary history of Cerro Pinto dome complex, Puebla, Mexico. The project focused on eld mapping and geochemical characterization of a rhyolite dome and turing complex. Brian has also spent time in Japan studying volcanoes as a part of an NSF/JSPS Summer Research Program, where he studied the Yake-dake volcano, and apparently honed his karaoke skills according to one of his referees.
